Excelling at any sport isn’t easy. It requires discipline, teamwork, long hours of practice and many resources. Each year of band starts in late July with marching season for football games and contests, then progresses into concert season, solo and ensemble contests, UIL competition and Winter Guard.
Our kids cannot do this alone and that’s why the Clements Band & Guard Boosters need your help. The booster club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports the Clements Band & Color Guard.
We are kicking off our annual online fundraiser and this is our biggest fundraising effort of the year. Also, since we are managing the fundraiser ourselves this year, ALL proceeds will directly benefit the CHS Band & Guard.
Your support is so important! As you know, the award-winning Clements High School Band & Guard has a long tradition of excellence in our region, area and within the state, and we need your help to continue to stay competitive.
This year, we are raising funds for the following items:
— Drum Major Stands: $4,000-6,000
— Custom Props for the Marching Show: $6,000-10,000
— New Mellophones: $1200 each
— Marching, Color Guard and Percussion Techs
— Refurbishing or replacing electronic equipment
— Trailer repair and maintenance
The Band & Guard program at Clements High School benefits so many students and provides them with skills they will use throughout their lifetime. And there are a lot of moving parts, literally.
